In his Grandfathers magic filled dark room, a boys imagination was unlocked and a life of creating images began.
   JD started out at 18 working as a photo assistant for fashion photographers in Los Angeles. In 1993 he joined the International Alliance for Theater and Stage Employees. During the last 25 years JD has worked with the best in the business. 
    With over 55,000 hours of on set experience behind the camera Jason has worked with Oscar winners from every conceivable department. Jason  has worked with several Academy Award winning Cinematographers on lighting and camera movement and  has worked on dozens of major motion pictures including Titanic, Star Wars, Bridesmaids, The Soloist, Vanilla Sky, 22 Jump Street, We Were Soldiers, Almost Famous, Dr. Doolittle, The American President, Hail Caesar and many more. He recently completed work on Disney’s “A Wrinkle in Time.”
